{"id":443,"date":"2010-08-10T09:10:55","date_gmt":"2010-08-10T13:10:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.homegrownonahobbyfarm.com\/?p=443"},"modified":"2011-11-15T18:03:30","modified_gmt":"2011-11-15T23:03:30","slug":"about-our-blueberry-conserve-webisode","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.homegrownonahobbyfarm.com\/index.php\/2010\/08\/about-our-blueberry-conserve-webisode\/","title":{"rendered":"Blog Post About our Blueberry Conserve Webisode"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When I began canning, years ago, I was amazed to find preserving fruits and veggies wasn&#8217;t just \u201cpickles and jellies.\u201d In the years since then, I&#8217;ve collected and used many recipes stretching from marmalades to desserts!<\/p>\n<p>The conserve is so versatile, one can use it as a spread on your toast in the morning or a topping on your cheesecake after dinner (or, like I prefer, with a little chevre). <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-444\" title=\"Conserve\" src=\"https:\/\/www.homegrownonahobbyfarm.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Conserve.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"150\" \/>There are usually a few different flavors &#8220;going on&#8221; in the jar, regardless of the fruit you&#8217;ve used for the conserve.<\/p>\n<p>The deep blue of the blueberry doesn&#8217;t allow us to see the lemon and orange rings that are part of the recipe \u2013 which is a shame because that makes for a lovely presentation.
